The fall might mean shorter days, autumn colors, chilly nights and warm fireplaces, but for us, it also means the release of the newest vintage of our Chardonnay.
Our 2012 vintage fits right into the lineup of Far Niente Chardonnays. A near ideal growing season, with warm days and cool nights, lead to a large but balanced crop and beautiful fruit flavors.
Tasting Notes: This wine offers lively aromas of lemon and lime citrus zest, honeydew melon, wet stone and honeysuckle blossom. Bright upon entry with a silky texture through the midpalate, the wine is focused and long with citrus and mineral flavors supported by integrated notes of oak. The finish is clean and refreshing.
Stay tuned for the release of the wine! In the meantime, enjoy our current release and try your hand at recipes to pair from our Executive Chef Trevor Eliason.

Non-malolactic fermentation. Although the phrase doesn’t roll easily off the tongue, Chardonnays made without it certainly can. And it’s essential to our Far Niente Chardonnay house style.
