2014 Dolce Budbreak

The 2014 vintage is springing to life in the vineyard! Jaunty leaves on gnarled vines greeted us on this early morning visit, while a timid sun peeked over the mountains. Not only are we excited for the wonderfully picturesque scenes of the growing season, but we are especially looking forward to the Semillon fruit this Coombsville location will yield.

Size Matters?

Excuse me, that’s a provocative title for a wine seminar! Earlier this month I had the pleasure of defending just that concept in the context of Dolce. Pebble Beach Food & Wine afforded the opportunity for me to share the 2001 Dolce from three bottle sizes, ranging from 375ml, 750ml up to the magnum (1.5L), with about 80 guests.
