A few rain showers didn't keep our Napa Valley wine club members from joining us to celebrate an exciting vintage of Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon. And what a day it was! The caves were candlelit, our Cave Collection wines were decanted, and the newly released 2014 Far Niente Estate Bottled Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, Oakville, was showing gorgeous dark fruit flavors and rich structure.
Each vintage here at Far Niente is an opportunity to make our greatest wine yet. That belief drives us each year, and the 2014 vintage was no exception. From when to prune to when to pick, the decisions we made were all influenced by our passion for excellence, authenticity and the unceasing desire to make our best wine possible.
We loved sharing the 2014 Far Niente Cabernet with our wine club members and guests. Thank you to everyone who joined us as we toasted another exciting Napa Valley vintage. The slideshow, below, captures some of our favorite images from the day.
